French Parliament endorses burqa ban in public

(Bernama) PARIS: The French parliament finally passed Tuesday a bill to prevent women from wearing face-to-toe veil covering whole body in public spaces across the country, reported China’s Xinhua news agency.
French Senate voted 246 to one to approve the burqa ban bill. France now reside five million Muslims, ranking as the largest Islamic community in European Union.
Women who violate the ban and insist putting full-face-covering veil in administrations, hospitals and parks risk to be fined 150 euros (about US$195) or take citizenship lessons.
While any man convicted of forcing their wives to wear the burqa will have to pay a 30,000 euro fine (US$38,984) and face jail term up to one year.
The ban will come into force next spring if the Constitutional Council gives green light to the bill after final review.
Statistics from the Interior Ministry shows that some 1,900 Muslim women are wearing the burqa across France.
“Long live the Republic with no covered face, is a question of dignity and equality. It is a question of respect for our republican principles,” French Justice Minister Michele Alliot- Marie said.
The ban will come into force next spring if the Constitutional Council gives green light to the bill after final review.
Officials say the ban is a measure likely to preserve security and to guarantee women’s rights but critics fear the measure will stigmatize Muslims and fuel racism.

From the age of three these women have been brainwashed to cover their face. I think muslim men should cover their eyes instead and lock-up their dicks and throw away the key if they cannot control their animal urge to bonk a woman who does not cover her face. Why should women be made the victims when the men are not in control of themselves?? In Islam women will always be made second fiddle and be subservient to the men in all that they want. This is taught in asramas by the ulamas and muftis that pleasing the husband is the most important thing otherwise "talak" is used. that is why muslim women are very insecure as the men hold the trump card...

THAT IS JUST ONE bullshit excuse to try and force ISLAM down other peoples throat.

If the moslems in France feels that way, they all should go back to Arab saudi, iran, iraq, Indon, MALAZUTLAND and all the stupid countries... why go to foreign land and then insist on following their own countries uncivilised religion?

We hope the French Judiciary will not be as stupid as Malaysian judiciary in overturning the most Modern BILL i ever come across. And if all the other Western countries are not stupid, THEY SHOULD ALL FOLLOW SUIT and impose similar ban.

I dont really care if moslems wants to remove equality or dignity of their womenfolks, who cares. BUT you all know very well the IMPRACTICALLITY of fully covered face in Public.

How do you she is not a man with a hideous weapon under the dress, or if she comes to see me as an officer for my signature, How the FUKK do I know who I am talking to?

Any moslems who wants to insist on a stupid religious rule should all go back to the country of Mohammed and BURQA their faces to death , thats their problem.

BUT at the moment US and Australia are being stupid not realising that the freedom of religion in these countries are the very same benefits and previleges that certain moslems are making use of to FORCE their stupid religion to others...

While they claim freedom of religion, they also then claim freedom to demand OTHER religion be downgraded or repressed such as their demands to remove crucifix or other symbols from schools where they can then superimpose their Moon and star symbol. NOW what does that means?

AND also note, EVEN Malaysia does not recognise the Burqa..

If I was the french govt, any men guilty of forcing their wives to wear the full veil in public should all be DEPORTED BACK TO THEIR COUNTRY OF ORIGINS or if they were French born, I would SIMPLY GUILLOTINED THEM.

I am all for it, the burga ban by the French! Iit is tantamount to liberating women from shackles that skewed their lives for no apparent reason. If they live in the desert, the veil shall serve to ward the sand from their faces, but the religious ulama will say that it is against islamic religion for a woman to expose 'aurat'. How so when so many of Malaysian unwed and veiled Muslim girls cover their aurat but produce babies which they throw away like a rag dolls by the tong sampah, or longkang??? To what extend is the teaching of Islam to cause the supposedly pius Muslim ladies to throw away these unfortunate babies who were never asked to be born??? Which sin carries heavier penalty, the one who 'expose' the aurat (face) but are righteous or the one who covers from head to toes but producing babies out of wedlock and kill the babies as where and when!!!

Be decent, good and pure at heart, that is all that matters in all religions!!!!
